Stephanie and Matthew were looking for some entertainment at their wedding to fill the gap between the wedding breakfast and the evening reception. It was a beautiful day in July (hottest day of the year!) and The Ashes was a perfect setting for their wedding.
It’s common for most weddings to have a lull in the late afternoon and more often than not it’s better to fill this gap, rather than leave your guests with nothing to do. More often than not, the wedding breakfast will finish around 6pm, and the first dance won’t be until 8pm. A lot of venues will want to reset the room ready for the evening reception, and the guests are often asked to vacate the function room. By having Christian perform close up magic for your guests the day will flow and no one will be left ‘hanging around.’
